Employment Law

Employment law changes quickly. We make sure your company keeps up.

The employment relationship involves much more than an employment contract – it encompasses a wide range of rights and obligations, rules governing working time and remuneration, protection against dismissal and internal workplace regulations that employers are required to comply with. In recent years alone, new regulations have been introduced covering remote work, sobriety checks, leave due to force majeure and new information obligations.

We provide our clients with ongoing advice – explaining their obligations, preparing documents and supporting them in challenging employment matters. Our support can take the form of a one-off project, a legal opinion or ongoing advisory services. We always tailor the scope of our support to your individual needs.

WHAT DOES OUR SERVICE INCLUDE?

EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP ADVISORY

We prepare and review documentation relating to the establishment, amendment and termination of employment relationships, including employment contracts, management contracts, non-compete agreements and confidentiality agreements. We also advise on more complex matters, including terminations, disciplinary dismissals, maternity protection and disciplinary measures.

WORKPLACE REGULATIONS AND INTERNAL EMPLOYMENT POLICIES

We analyse the specific characteristics of your workplace and prepare or update internal regulations, including workplace regulations, remuneration policies, remote-working policies and other internal policies and agreements. We ensure that they comply with current legislation and effectively protect your company’s interests.

EMPLOYMENT DUE DILIGENCE IN M&A TRANSACTIONS

We conduct legal due diligence on employment matters as part of M&A transactions – analysing the employment structure, the accuracy of HR documentation, the completeness of internal regulations and identifying risks that could affect the transaction. This is an area that is sometimes overlooked but can have significant consequences after the transaction has been completed.

ONGOING ADVISORY AND SUPPORT DURING INSPECTIONS

We answer ongoing employment law questions and keep you informed of key regulatory changes. If the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) or ZUS initiates an inspection, we prepare the necessary documentation and represent your company throughout the proceedings.
